Our team has many years of experience in mechanical and plant engineering for the calcium silicate brick industry. At TechLine GmbH, we have built on this expertise and developed a fully automated sawing system for large-format calcium silicate elements.

Plant Concept

The system enables large-format calcium silicate elements to be prefabricated directly at the factory according to the wall layout. The elements are cut precisely to size, numbered and prepared ready for installation, allowing them to be installed directly on site with virtually no additional cutting required. Angled and diagonal cuts, for example for gable walls, can also be produced reliably.

This construction method is becoming increasingly important as it reduces construction times, simplifies installation and improves planning reliability. It enables calcium silicate brick manufacturers to expand their product range with installation-ready elements while making their production processes more efficient and predictable.

Technical Implementation

All components, including conveyor systems, gripper systems, automation components and packaging equipment, were engineered by us and integrated into the overall concept. A key element is our own sawing technology, featuring a standardised saw module for straight and angled cuts. This simplifies the plant structure and reduces engineering and integration effort. Multiple identical modules allow capacity and cycle rate to be flexibly adapted to different production requirements.

“Complex challenges do not require complicated solutions, but clearly structured systems.”

The automation and control systems are implemented in cooperation with experienced partners specialising in programming and plant control. The result is an integrated solution in which mechanics, automation and process logic work seamlessly together.

Benefits for Operators and Manufacturers

  • Integrated end-to-end solution instead of individual standalone solutions

  • Easy integration into existing production processes

  • Fewer interfaces between mechanics, control systems and software

  • Flexible adaptation of plant capacity to different production requirements

  • Standardised system design facilitates expansion

  • Automated processes reduce manual effort and potential sources of error

  • Enables the expansion of existing plants as well as the development of new production lines

  • A single technical point of contact for the entire plant concept

Conclusion

With this concept, TechLine expands its portfolio with an independently developed plant concept for automated solutions in calcium silicate brick production.
