What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage (localStorage), to remember certain settings.

Which Categories Do We Use?

Technically necessary storage is required for the operation of the website. This includes, in particular:

• Your cookie consent (techline-cookie-consent)
• Your light or dark mode preference (techline-theme), if you have changed it manually

Where the legal requirements are met, this information is stored without separate consent pursuant to Section 25(2) TDDDG. Where personal data is processed in this context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, provided that the relevant requirements are met.

Optional categories can be managed through our Cookie Settings. Technologies requiring consent are used only with your explicit consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG and, where personal data is processed, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

These include the following categories:

• Preferences: Storage of optional settings that improve user convenience but are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website.
• Statistics: Technologies used to analyse website usage, for example, to evaluate visitor numbers and user behaviour.
• Marketing: Technologies that may be used to deliver advertising or for remarketing purposes.
• External Media & Maps: Integration of external content, such as maps or videos. Data may be transmitted to third-party providers.

A Google Maps map is embedded on our contact page. When the map loads, data, particularly your IP address, may be transmitted to Google. You can access Google Maps directly through the map.

For more information about how Google processes personal data, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy.

Storage Duration

We store your cookie preferences until you change them via “Cookie Settings” in the website footer or delete your browser data.

Theme preferences remain stored until you reset them or remove them from your browser.

The storage duration of other cookies and similar technologies depends on the respective service and its settings.

Your Choices

When you first visit our website, you can use the cookie banner to decide which optional categories you wish to allow.

You can choose between “Reject”, “Save Selection” and “Accept All”. Technically necessary storage always remains active.

You can change your decision or withdraw previously given consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

For more information about data protection, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
